Dear Delphi
The site of Delphi epitomized by the Priestess (Pythia) gazing into the future at the omphalos stone - the naval of the world found in Greece - was world-renowned for prophesy, forecasting the future for supplicants. Nations were manipulated and lead by such prophesies. The priestess would deliver a garbled and vague message which priests interpreted: the final message often depending upon the size of the ‘gifts’ given.
In modern times a more accessible Everyman’s Delphic Oracle was the Dear Dorothy Dix column in newspapers and even closer to our own era in magazine articles, where Psychic Readers respond to letters with information. Who hasn’t turned immediately to the Stars column in your favourite mag?
Much of this information is to do with helping and supporting the seeker to find the way forward in the confusing and messy moments of life. Just to talk to someone outside your own circle may just be enough to release the dread or give a direction forward.
Hence, Dear Delphi. (There’s no way known that I am going to be a Dorothy Dix!)
No-one needs or deserves to be isolated in this world when everywhere is available at the click of a button and thoughts waft across the ether to locate that which is needed for health, well-being, recovery and growth.
You no longer need to make a pilgrimage to Delphi. I am here to listen to your story. Sometimes – often, that is enough.
Beyond that, if you wish to engage in further contact with me, and if I am able to link with you to your satisfaction, we can plan further communications. These sessions will be continued by an mutually agreed session format and timeframe and after you have accepted the quotation and payment is made via PayPal. This might well be with story; it might be life experience; it may be Spirit-given insights and messages that are given to me for you. I will be using my intuition to provide wisdom but remember, my only demand – question.
It is not my intention to use the spiritual growth of others for my exclusive advantage or to fund a round-the-world cruise on the Queen Mary. However, an important lesson I have learned is that we all deserve to make a living and have our own needs met. Our talents are given by the Divine and that gift is how we move through the world. How do I love and assist others if I am unable to love and support myself?
All will be from my heart, couched and supported by the unconditional love of all for all; the Greek agape.
